Visiting a new church can be intimidating, so we try to make it easy…fun…memorable!
At Discipleship International, our first time guests are VIPs. From parking, kids’ church, and afterwards, we’ll be there with you every step of the way. When you arrive, just let one of our friendly greeters know that this is your first time and we will walk you through the experience.
COME AS YOU ARE!
At Discipleship International, there is no dress code.
You’ll see some people in suits and others in jeans and a t-shirt. Wear whatever makes you comfortable!
Park in the parking area directly in front of the building.
We suggest that you arrive about 10-15 minutes early to get settled before we begin.
Worship Experience –
A bit different
The meetings typically last about an hour and a half. The children join the adults for the singing and then are released to go to Sunday School classes.
We don’t have the traditional stage up front and chairs or pews in rows.
Instead we sit in a circle, because a stage and rows creates a presenter / listener format. Instead the circle allows all to engage and be involved.
In the circle, we
- Experience God in worship – we sing songs to God
- Engage in truth – there is a topic from the Bible that we will talk about and discuss together
- Equip one Another – as we all can share answered prayers, things that God is speaking to us, and ask questions
