Our lives often fall short of what we hope they can be and certainly all that we have the potential to be. We are often trapped in false understandings, fears, and failures that hold us back and stunt our growth.

This is the fourth of a 5 part series.

In Part 1 we learned about having the right foundation – God’s Love integrated into our lives.and we understand who is making the changes in our lives – the Holy Spirit and we have the right tools – the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit, then we are ready to begin building.

In Part 2 we learned about the Right Who and the Right Tools – Who is making the changes in our lives – the Holy Spirit and the right tools – the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit.  So we are now ready to begin building.

Many believers in Jesus are stunted in their growth and never progress beyond the beginning. They are shallow and flat in their spiritual lives. They need to grow in depth of character. So we are looking at becoming a 3D believer:

– Devoted – passionately pursuing Jesus
– Discipled
– Delivered

Last week we saw what it meant to be Devoted to Jesus – passionately pursuing Jesus.  We looked at the pattern of the early believers in Acts 2 and how Paul calls us to surrender all to Jesus in Romans 12.

This week we are looking at being discipled.

This is Jesus’ method for growing disciples.  If we want to grow, he has called us to be discipled.  But what does that mean?  Join us as we find out!
